We had dinner in restaurant El Lugar. We asked the chef to surprise us. And he did! Everything was well thought off, little details, combination of flavors, all very good. We had bruscetta with 7 different toppings and Duck cooked to perfection. Best place in Pereira

Chef Jorn Ludvigsen & his staff will provide you with an exceptional culinary experience not typical to Colombia. He is Danish and pulls spices and seasonings from around the globe to provide very unique partaking of breakfast, lunch, dinner or afternoon snack. Choices of wine are excellent. Range of Club Colombian beer/cerveza choices are cold and abundant.

The cuisine was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. I have eaten at El Lugar restaurant several times, and the food has always been perfection. When they take your order, they briefly discuss how they will present it. This is a good time to ask stupid questions, and then they bring you exactly what they promised. The food is always fresh and pristine in flavor and looks so good – you know the taste before even starting to eat. I have always enjoyed myself, when visiting El Lugar, and left happy every time.

This was one of my best experiences in the world in terms of dining. The combination of ingredients and the different flavors are beyond expectations. Also the hosts Norah and Jorn are just amazing. I also learned a lot about food, cooking and about their coffee. They have a very special coffee from an organic farm and it is one of the best coffees you can get. Get inspired by the chief recommendations and you will be amazed.

We have returned several times for meals or coffee and dessert. The atmosphere is an idyllic country setting where you can go and enjoy a quiet, peaceful ambiance. Jorn and Nohra are very laid back but hard-working. Whatever I want, I can have. The dishes are always different, always new flavors and always incredible. This is our favorite restaurant in Pereira. Great way to escape the hustle and bustle of Pereira for a relaxing afternoon or evening.
